Vmobile cuts cost of lines; MTN out with new recharge option

LAGOS —Determined to check scarcity of its recharge cards in the past weeks, MTN has introduced a virtual recharge option, which would enable subscribers recharge their phones without the use of physical cards.
Vmobile Nigeria, another GSM operator announced reduction in cost of its lines to N5,500, and introduced three new tariffs and two promotions on Veego, its pre-paid product. The promotions are Bumpa Card, The Big One and Veego Airtime Bonus Offer.
Globacom boasts 10m line capacity network in 3 months

LAGOS - FOLLOWING the progress report on the expansion of its network, Globacom says in another three months, it will be in a position to boast of 10-million line capacity network in addition to other services for which it got a licence from the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) in 2002 as a second national carrier.
